Aster Capital est un investisseur en capital-risque spécialisé sur le secteur des cleantechs. Nous accompagnons des start-up innovantes en finançant leur essor. Nous investissons en fonds-propres dans des entreprises à très fort potentiel de croissance, répondant à des problématiques énergétiques et environnementales globales.

Nous mettons à profit les atouts de nos sponsors industriels pour accélérer le développement des entreprises de notre portefeuille. En favorisant la signature de partenariats technologiques ou commerciaux avec Alstom, Solvay et/ou Schneider Electric, nous aidons les entrepreneurs à faire grandir leur entreprise.

 

Notre développement

Nos équipes en Europe, en Amérique du Nord, en Chine et en Israël gèrent de concert notre fonds actuel de 107 m€. Grâce à cette dimension internationale, Aster se donne l’opportunité d’investir dans les sociétés les plus prometteuses à l’échelle du globe.

Aster Capital est signataire de la Charte de l’AFIC : lors des diligences préalables à un investissement et pour assurer un développement pérenne de nos participations, nous considérons des critères Environnementaux, Sociaux et de Gouvernance adaptés au secteur d’activité et au stade de développement de l’entreprise.

OUR ADDED VALUE

We focus on investing in start-ups where we can help create value by leveraging our strong relationships with our global industrial sponsors - Alstom, Schneider Electric and Solvay. We bring more than just a check – we bring experience, relationships, technical expertise and perspective. Our team is staffed with investing and operating professionals with deep knowledge of the markets you compete in, the geographies you operate in and the challenges you face. We assist in setting-up business partnerships, facilitating market access, providing technical assistance and coordinating joint-development agreements with our sponsors and others in our ecosystem, helping our entrepreneurs to achieve their ambitions.

 

OUR TEAM / OUR FUND

Our team is global with operations in Europe, North America, China, Japan and Israel, providing Aster with the footprint to invest in the best very companies and technologies worldwide. We are currently investing out of our second fund - Aster II - a $140M fund launched in 2010. Our investment focus is early stage energy and environmental technologies with a limited amount of our fund available for seed and growth stage investments.

Aster Capital signed the Charter published by AFIC (French private equity association): during the due diligence processes and for the sound development of our portfolio companies, we pay attention to Environmental, Social and Governance criteria, taking into account the specific sector and maturity of the start-up.
